मुंबई। मुंबई धमाकों में एक संदिग्ध से पुलिस ने पूछताछ तो की लेकिन पूछताछ के बाद संदिग्ध की हालत बिगड गई और अस्पताल में उसकी मौत हो गई।
पुलिस ने मुंबई हमलों में एक संदिग्ध फैज को शनिवार को पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया। पूछताछ के बाद सैफ की हालत बिगडने लगी। उसे अस्पताल ले जाया गया। जहां उसकी मौत हो गई। गौरतलब है कि फैज अहमदाबाद धमाकों के आरोपी अफजल का भाई है। अफजल आईएम का सदस्य है। सैफ के परिजनों ने पुलिस पर प्रताडना के आरोप लगाए हैं। चिकित्सकों का कहना है कि सैफ के शरीर पर चोट को कोई निशान नहीं है। अभी सैफ की पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आना शेष है।
मुंबई. मुंबई में हुए आतंकी हमलों के सिलसिले में हिरासत में लिए गए एक संदिग्ध आतंकवादी की मौत हो गई है। जानकारी के अनुसार पूछताछ के दौरान उसकी तबियत बिगड़ी और अस्पताल में उसकी मौत हो गई। परिवारजनों ने पुलिस पर प्रताड़ना का आरोप लगाया है। हालांकि यह अभी साफ नहीं है कि उसे हिरासत में लिया गया था, या केवल पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया गया था। खूफिया सूत्रों को ये सबूत भी मिले हैं कि इंडियन मुजाहिदीन का आईएम के कई आतंकवादी पाकिस्तान में पनाह लिए हुए हैं। हैदराबाद के करीब २१ युवक इस समय कराची या फिर मध्य पूर्वी देशों में छुपे हुए हैं।
जानकारी के अनुसार मुंबई पुलिस की क्राइम ब्रांच ने फैज को शनिवार दोपहर को पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया था। फैज अफजल उस्मानी का भाई है, जो अहमदाबाद में हुए धमाकों के आरोप में जेल में है। अफजल उस्मानी इंडियन मुजाहिदीन से जुड़ा हुआ है और २००८ में मुंबई पुलिस के द्वारा गिरफ्तार किया गया था। उस पर आरोप है कि उसने अहमदाबाद में हुए धमाकों के लिए आतंकवादियों की मदद की थी।
मुंबई पुलिस ने बुधवार को हुए धमाकों के बारे में पूछताछ के लिए फैज को बुलाया था। लेकिन पूछताछ के दौरान उसकी तबियत बिगड़ी और उसे सियान अस्पताल में दाखिल करा दिया गया। लेकिन बाद में उसकी मौत हो गई। मिली जानकारी के अनुसार उसकी ब्रेन हैमरेज से मौत हुई है। फैज की मौत के बाद परिजनों ने अस्पताल में हंगामा कर दिया। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि पुलिस ने उसे प्रताड़ित किया है, जिससे उसकी मौत हो गई। फैज की मौत के बाद समाजवादी पार्टी नेता अबु आजमी भी अस्पताल पहुंचे।
फैज के बेटे ने बताया कि दो पुलिसकर्मी उसके अब्बा को अस्पताल में छोड़ गए और फिर किसी ने कोई चिंता नहीं की। वह जब अस्पताल पहुंचा तो फैज की हालत काफी खराब थी और बाद में मौत हो गई।
लाश का आज पोस्ट मार्टम होना है, जिसके बाद मौत के सही कारण का खुलासा हो सकता है।
टॉप आईएम कमांडर कराची में
इसी बीत खूफिया विभाग को सूचना मिली है कि इंडियन मुजाहिदीन के टॉप कमांडर पाकिस्तान में शरण लिए हुए हैं। इसके अलावा कई आतंकवादी कराची और मध्य पूर्वी देशों में पनाह लिए हुए हैं। भारत के हैदराबाद शहर के ही करीब २१ युवकों ने वहां शरण ली हुई है।
संदिग्ध आतंकी का स्कैच तैयार

महाराष्ट्र आतंकवाद रोधी दस्ता (एटीएस) ने बुधवार को हुए तिहरे बम धमाकों में किसी आत्मघाती हमलावर के शामिल होने की संभावना को खारिज करते हुए कहा कि शनिवार रात तक संदिग्ध हमलावर का स्केच तैयार कर लिया गया है। एटीएस के हाथ इस मामले में कुछ अहम सुराग लगे हैं। एटीएस प्रमुख राकेश मारिया ने कहा कि कुछ सुराग मिले हैं और जांच सही दिशा में आगे बढ़ रही है। इस बारे में उन्होंने विवरण देने से इंकार कर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि जांच और फारेंसिक विशेषज्ञों के घटनास्थल की जांच करने के बाद जांचकर्ताओं के मुताबिक वहां कोई आत्मघाती हमलावर मौजूद नहीं था।
एटीएस प्रमुख ने कहा कि जो सीसीटीवी फुटेज मिले हैं वे धुंधले हैं और जांचकर्ता एक या दो दिन के भीतर घटनास्थल पर मौजूद सीसीटीवी कैमरे से बेहतर तस्वीर प्राप्त कर लेंगे।

अपराधियों के हौसले इतने बुलंद हो गये है कि वह किसी के साथ भी घटना को अंजाम देने से नहीं कतराते। इसका सबसे बड़ा उदाहरण मुंबई में सामने आया है। मुंबई में चलती ट्रेन में लुटेरों ने मुख्‍यमंत्री पृथ्‍वीराज चव्‍हाण की पत्‍नी सत्‍वशीला के साथ लूटपाट की। लुटेरों ने उनका पर्स और मोबाइल लूट लिया। फिलहाल इस मामले में कोई मुकदमा पंजीकृत नहीं कराया गया है।

प्राप्‍त जानकारी के अनुसार दुस्‍साहस पूर्ण यह वारदात महराष्‍ट्र एक्‍सप्रेस ट्रेन में हुई। लुटेरों ने घटना को अंजाम मनमाड के पास दिया। सूत्रों से प्राप्‍त जानकारी के अनुसार महाराष्‍ट्र के मुख्‍यमंत्री पृथ्‍वीराज चव्‍हाण की पत्‍नी सत्‍वशीला उत्‍तरी महाराष्‍ट्र के जलगांच के एक मेडिकल कालेज का दौरा करने के बाद शनिवार को महाराष्‍ट्र एक्‍सप्रेस से मुंबई वापस लौट रही थी।

वह एसी 2 में सफर कर रही थी। मनमाड पहुंचने से पहले कुछ अज्ञात बदमाश उनके कम्‍पार्टमेंट में आये और उनके साथ हाथापाई पर उतारु हो गये। देखते ही देखते लुटेरों ने उनको सीट पर ही धक्‍का दे दिया और उनका पर्स तथा मोबाइल लूटकर फरार हो गये। सत्‍वशीला की मानें तो उनके पर्स में 40 हजार रुपये नगद और कुछ जरुरी कागजात थे। खबर लिखे जाने तक इस मामले में अभी तक मुकदमा दर्ज नहीं किया गया है और ना ही काई शिकायत आई है।

CG Police: Speak Asia: नपेगा स्पिक एशिया, एफआईआर की तैयारी में पुलिस

रायपुर.ऑनलाइन सर्वे कंपनी का जाल बिछाने वाली सिंगापुर की कंपनी स्पीक एशिया के खिलाफ पहली बार राजधानी पुलिस एफआईआर करने की तैयारी कर रही है। कंपनी के खिलाफ कई शिकायतों के बाद भी जांच शुरू नहीं होने की वजह से आईजी मुकेश गुप्ता ने अफसरों को कड़ी फटकार लगाई। उनके कड़े निर्देश के बाद ही एसएसपी दीपांशु काबरा ने जांच का जिम्मा सीएसपी आजाद चौक नीतू कंवल को सौंपा है।

सीएसपी ने सोमवार से कंपनी के खिलाफ मिली शिकायतों का अध्ययन करना शुरू कर दिया है। अब तक विशेष अनुसंधान सेल और सिविल लाइन थाने में लोगों की ओर से दी गई शिकायतों की प्रति भी उनके कार्यालय पहुंचा दी गई है। पुलिस शिकायत करने वाले लोगों की सूची तैयार कर रही है।

उन्हें बयान के लिए थाने बुलाया जाएगा। गौरतलब है कि स्पीक एशिया के ऑनलाइन फर्जीवाड़े की खबर को सबसे पहले दैनिक भास्कर में ही प्रकाशित हुई थी। एसएसपी श्री काबरा का कहना है कि इस पूरे मामले में पुलिस तथ्यों को जुटा रही है। शिकायतकर्ताओं को बुलाया जा रहा है।

अब तक बच रही थी पुलिस

स्पीक एशिया के खिलाफ किसी भी तरह की जांच के लिए अब तक पुलिस आनाकानी कर रही थी। कई लोगों की शिकायत के बाद भी पुलिस बार-बार यह कहकर मामले को टाल देती थी कि शिकायतकर्ताओं के पास पुख्ता दस्तावेज नहीं है।

आईजी के कड़े रुख के बाद ही अब मामले की छानबीन शुरू की गई है। पुलिस की लापरवाही का अंदाजा इसी बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि पिछले महीने के आखिरी रविवार को स्पीक एशिया के अधिकारियों ने बेखौफ होकर शहीद स्मारक भवन में निवेशकों के लिए सेमिनार का आयोजन किया।

निवेशकों के करोड़ों रुपए फंसने के बाद भी उन्हें फिर से निवेश करने के लिए रिझाया जा रहा था। पुलिस अधिकारियों ने एक मर्तबा भी कंपनी के अधिकारियों से पूछताछ की जरूरत नहीं समझी।

150 करोड़ डूब गए

स्पीक एशिया कंपनी में छत्तीसगढ़ के 50 हजार लोगों ने 150 करोड़ रुपए से भी ज्यादा का निवेश किया था। कंपनी ने 11 हजार रुपए दो और हर महीने चार हजार रुपए लो की स्कीम लांच की थी, जिससे उसने बाद में पल्ला झाड़ लिया। लोगों ने बिना किसी दस्तावेजों के अनधिकृत एजेंटों के माध्यम से करोड़ों रुपए निवेश कर दिए।

अब न इन एजेंटों का पता है और न ही लोगों के पैसे वापस करने कंपनी सामने आ रही है। कंपनी का साफ कहना है कि 11 हजार रुपए की राशि ऑनलाइन बिजनेस शुरू करने से पहले ट्रेनिंग देने के लिए ली गई थी, जिसे बाद में प्रशिक्षुओं को 4 हजार रुपए प्रतिमाह वेतन के रूप में वापस किए गए।

Delhi Police: सुप्रीम कोर्म की दिल्ली सरकार को फटकार, रामलीला मैदान में सोते लोगों पर क्यों हुई कार्रवाई

दिल्ली के रामलीला मैदान में कालेधन के खिलाफ धरने में योगगुरु बाबा रामदेव तथा उनके समर्थकों पर आधी रात को किए गए लाठी चार्ज और आंसूगैस के इस्तेमाल पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने फिर दिल्ली पुलिस से जवाब मांगा है।


कोर्ट ने कहा कि पुलिस ने लाठीचार्ज से इनकार किया है लेकिन चित्रों से पता चलता है कि पुलिस उपायुक्त की मौजूदगी में पुलिस यह कार्रवाई कर रही है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि पुलिस बताए आधी रात को सोते हुए लोगों पर ऐसी सख्त कार्रवाई करने की क्या जरूरत पड़ गई थीं।
सुनवाई के दौरान स्वामी रामदेव की तरफ से पेश वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता राम जेठमलानी ने अनुरोध किया कि इस मामले में गृहमंत्री पी. चिदंबरम से स्पष्टीकरण मांगा जाना चाहिए क्योंकि उनके निर्देश पर ही पुलिस ने यह कार्रवाई की है। लेकिन जस्टिस बी.एस. चौहान और स्वतंतर कुमार की पीठ ने कहा कि 4 जून की घटना के बारे में दिल्ली पुलिस की प्रतिक्रिया मिल जाने के बाद ही इस आग्रह पर विचार होगा। पीठ मामले की अगली सुनवाई 25 जुलाई को करेगी। कोर्ट ने कहा कि पुलिस धरनास्थल में लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों की डीवीडी भी तैयार रखे। जरूरत पड़ने पर उन्हें मीडिया के फुटेज से मिलाया जा सकता है।

Maharastra Police: Man arrested after constable-wife alleges torture

The husband of a police constable was arrested on Saturday after she registered a complaint with the Yerawada police alleging that her husband and in-laws tortured her for working against their will.

The victim has also alleged that her husband forcibly sodomised her. She has registered an FIR under Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code.

Police said the 26-year-old victim, a resident of Shivajinagar, married S R Khan, 34, of Nagpur Chawl, Yerawada in 2003. Three months after the marriage, her in laws including her husband, her mother-in-law Shama Khan, two maternal uncles of her husband started torturing her, insisting that she quit her job and look after the household chores. They also accused her of having an extramarital affair and used to lock her in the house for days, torturing her mentally and physically, police said.

The victim has also alleged that her husband forced her to have unnatural sex with him against her will.

Chandigarh Police: Health issues rattle UT police

CHANDIGARH: Repeated advice of Chandigarh police's health wing for police personnel to maintain their fitness seems to be falling on deaf ears. In the second such incident for the past six months, a head constable of UT police Balbir Singh, 44, died due to medical complications on Sunday. He was suffering from diabetes and hypertension and was admitted in Government Multispecialty Hospital, Sector 16, on Saturday after he complained of acute stomach ache following his duty at Sector 41.

Sector-39 SHO Inspector Charanjit Singh said doctors referred Balbir Singh to PGI when his condition worsened, but he was declared brought dead there.

The head constable was one of the among 300 police personnel, who were found suffering from ailments like diabetes, hypertension and obesity during a health checkup camp that police department organized.
''At that camp, doctors had found the blood sugar in the head constable's body to be more than 180 and he was also advised to work on lowering his blood pressure,'' a colleague of the deceased said.
His relatives said Balbir weighed 82kg and his height was 5'7" and doctors had advised him to reduce that to 67kg. City-based physician Dr Kamal Modi said, ''The blood sugar level of a normal person should be 110 on an empty stomach and around 160 after having food.''

A police official said that Balbir was admitted in GMH-16 twice after he developed health problems.
On January 14, former SHO of Sector 31, inspector Bakhsish Singh, died after suffering a massive heart attack during his duty. Three months after that SHO of PS 17, Inspector Hardit Singh had a paralysis attack on May 17 and he was instructed to take rest for at least a year.

Mumbai Police: Inspector reporting to top cop held for extorting paanwalas

The Goregaon police on Saturday arrested Bhaskar Dhere, a police inspector attached to the CB Control unit of the Mumbai Police, one of its most elite wings, for extorting money from two paan shop owners.

According to the police, Dhere visited complainant Shafique Shaikh’s shop in Goregaon’s Jawahar Nagar on July 5. He accused Shaikh of selling fake gutkha brands and said he would take action against him. He told him that he would have to serve five years behind bars. Dhere then demanded money from Shaikh. In his complaint, Shaikh told the police that he arranged Rs1.40 lakh, which Dhere took from him and left.

“Shaikh is a committee member of an association of paan shop owners. He alerted all paan shop owners and asked them to inform him if any police officer tried to extort money from them,” said police inspector Sambhaji Shinde of the Goregaon police.

He added: “On July 9, Shaikh received a call from a paan shop owner in Malad. He told him that a police officer had taken Rs20,000 from him by threatening him in a similar manner. Shaikh alerted a beat marshal, who intercepted Dhere and asked him to take his vehicle to the Dindoshi police chowky. At the chowky, police officers said that the complaint was with the Goregaon police station. Dhere was taken there and then arrested.”

Shaikh’s complaint was against four people including Dhere. The police are yet to find the other three, who are also suspected to be policemen from the CB Control unit.

“The cash that Dhere had taken from the Malad-based paan shop owner was found in his vehicle, and thus the Goregaon police took immediate action against him,” said Ramrao Pawar, additional commissioner of police, north region.

Dhere was produced in court on Sunday. It remanded him in police custody till July 13. The police will further interrogate Dhere to know details about his accomplices.

The CB Control unit of the Mumbai Police deals with violation of orders issued by the central and state governments in connection with essential commodities. Officers from this branch used to report to the deputy commissioner of police (enforcement), who would report to the joint commissioner of police (crime).

But since the present commissioner of police Arup Patnaik took charge, he detached the branch from the crime branch and asked its officers to report to him directly. Posting in this branch is said to be a coveted one.
