Rajasthan Police : police inspector burn alive case/ सीओ सस्पेंड, संभागीय आयुक्त करेंगे जांच

जयपुर। सवाईमाधोपुर के सूरवाल कस्बे में गुरूवार को छात्र नेता राजेश मीणा की मौत के बाद पुलिस निरीक्षक फूल मोहम्मद को जिंदा जला देने की घटना को लेकर इलाके में जबरदस्त तनाव फैला हुआ है। कस्बे की दुकानें सुबह से ही बंद रहीं। इलाके में धारा 144 लगी हुई है और अतिरिक्त जाप्ता तैनात किया गया है। समूचे मामले में लापरवाही बरतने के आरोप में सवाईमाधोपुर के सिटी सर्कल अधिकारी पुलिस उप अधीक्षक महेंद्र सिंह को निलंबित कर दिया गया है। मामले की जांच भरतपुर संभागीय आयुक्त राजेश्वर सिंह को सौंपी गई है। पुलिस मुख्यालय का कहना है कि संभागीय आयुक्त की रिपोर्ट मिलने के बाद अन्य दोषी पुलिसकर्मियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
इस बीच, तमाम घटनाक्रम पर नजर रखने के लिए पुलिस मुख्यालय की ओर से भेजे गए आईजी लॉ एंड आर्डर रामफल सिंह, आईजी क्राइम मेघचंद मीणा और भरतपुर रेंज के आईजी मधुसूदन सिंह ने तनावग्रस्त इलाके में डेरा डाल लिया है। आईजी मधुसूदन सिंह ने हालात पूरी तरह से नियंत्रण में होने का दावा किया है। सिंह का कहना है कि छात्र नेता की मौत, आगजनी और इंसपेक्टर को जिंदा जला देने के मामले में अलग-अलग मामले दर्ज किए गए हैं। इंसपेक्टर को जलाकर मार डालने के आरोपियों की तलाश में दबिश दी जा रही है। पुलिस की छापामारी के भय से प्रभावित गांवों से पुरूष और युवा फरार हो गये हैं। इन गांवों में केवल महिलाएं और बच्चे ही नजर आ रहे हैं ।
पुलिस सूत्रों ने बताया कि थानाधिकारी फूल मोहम्मद को जिंदा जलाने, सरकारी वाहनों को आग लगाने, सरकारी सम्पत्ति को नुकसान पहुंचाने और राजकार्य में बाधा डालने के आरोप में मामले दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। सूरवाल गांव में अतिरक्ति सुरक्षा बल तैनात किया गया है। सवाई माधोपुर जिले में कल रात से धारा 144 लागू है। वरिष्ठतम प्रशासनिक और पुलिस अधिकारी मौके पर हैं और स्थिति पर नजर रखे हुए है। आक्रोशित भीड़ द्वारा जिंदा जलाए गए मानटाउन थानाधिकारी फूल मोहम्मद का शुक्रवार को उनके पैतृक गांव में राजकीय सम्मान से अन्तिम संस्कार कर दिया गया। मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने फूल मोहम्मद को शहीद का दर्जा देकर शहीद को दिए जाने वाले पैकेज मृतक के परिजन को २५ लाख रूपए, एक एमआईजी मकान, शहीद के नाम एक स्कूल का नामकरण, आश्रित को सरकारी नौकरी, बच्चों को मुफ्त शिक्षा की घोषणा की ।  इधर, नेता प्रतिपक्ष वसुंधरा राजे ने सवाई माधोपुर की घटना के लिए गृहमंत्री शान्ति धारीवाल को बर्खास्त करने की मांग की है। राजे ने आज यहां विधान सभा परिसर में संवाददाताओं से बातचीत करते हुए कहा कि प्रदेश में बिगड़ती कानून व्यवस्था के लिए गृहमंत्री जिम्मेदार  है। उन्होंने सरकार से जिंदा जलाए गए थानाधिकारी फूल मोहम्मद के समान ही टंकी से कूदकर जान देने वाले युवक राजेश मीणा को भी शहीद पैकेज देने की मांग की है।

Delhi Police : दिल्ली में 13,000 से अधिक भगोड़े अपराधी

नई दिल्ली। देश की राजधानी दिल्ली में 13,000 से अधिक भगोड़े अपराधी हैं जिनके खिलाफ भारतीय दंड संहिता की विभिन्न धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज हैं।
दिल्ली पुलिस के आकड़ों के मुताबिक, 13,621 अपराधी अभी तक लापता हैं। हालाकि 15 मार्च तक 711 को गिरफ्तार किया गया है।
पुलिस ने इस साल विशेष सफलता प्राप्त की है। 36 वर्ष से फरार एक अपराधी को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार किया है। इसने अपने एक सहकर्मी की हत्या कर दी थी। इसके अलावा हत्या के मामले में एक 'मृत व्यक्ति' को 20 साल के बाद गिरफ्तार किया गया है। एक वर्ष जेल की सजा सुनाए गए दुबई फरार हो गए एक व्यक्ति को 10 साल के बाद गिरफ्तार किया है।
एक पखवाड़ा पहले, दिल्ली पुलिस ने फरार अपराधियों के खिलाफ भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 174-ए के तहत कार्रवाई करने के लिए संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया था।

Rajasthan Police : हो गया मृत्युभोज, पुलिस रही बेखबर

उदयपुर। गिर्वा तहसील के बेमला गांव में मृत्युभोज होने की सूचना देने के बाद भी प्रशासन के कोई कार्रवाई नहीं होने से मृत्युभोज सम्पन्न हो गया। इस संबंध में बंधुआ मुक्ति मोर्चा ने सरपंच पर आयोजनकर्ताओं को बचाने का आरोप लगाया है।
सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता निर्मल गोराना ने बताया कि बंधुआ मुक्ति मोर्चा की ओर से १८ मार्च, २०११ को एडीएम गिर्वा प्रदीपसिंह सांगावत को  गांव बेमला में  मोहन लाल लौहार के निधन पर उनके पुत्र मांगीलाल लौहार एवं रामचन्द्र लौहार द्वारा मृत्युभोज करने की सूचना दी गई। गोराना ने बताया कि बेमला में मृतक के परिजनों ने अपने घर से कुछ दूरी पर रात-भर मालपुए और दाल बनवाई और लोगों को भोजन कराया। यह भोज दूसरे दिन सुबह साढ़े ग्यारह बजे तक चलता रहा। गोराना ने बताया कि १७ मार्च को थानाधिकारी कुराबड़ को मौके पर जाब्ता भेजने की मांग की गई लेकिन मृत्युभोज स्थल से लोगों को  गाडि़यों में बैठा कर कुछ दूरी पर एक साथ उतार दिया गया और फटाफट भोजन परोसना शुरू कर दिया। इस घटनाक्रम की जानकारी डी०वाई०एस०पी०, थानाधिकारी-कुराबड़, नायक तहसीलदार-कुराबड़ तथा सरपंचपुष्कर वैष्णव को दी गई। गोराना ने आरोप लगाया कि थानाधिकारी-कुराबड़ व नायक तहसीलदार-कुराबड़ बेमला गांव में पंहुचे तो सरपंच ने दोनो को गुमराह किया। गोराना का आरोप है कि सरपंच गांव में मृत्युभोज के आयोजन को नकारते रहे वहीं थानाधिकारी को मृत्युभोज स्थल मिल नही मिला। समय निकलता रहा और अन्त में जब पुलिस वास्तविक स्थल पर पहुंची तो दाल बिखरने और मालपुओं के टुकड़े तथा जूठी ताजा पतन-दौने और पानी का ड्रम मिला। कुछ लोग पुलिस को देखकर भाग गए। मोर्चा के कार्यकर्ताओं ने स्थल पर सारे सबूत बताए तो पुलिस द्वारा अग्रीम कारवाई हेतू कोई प्रत्युत्र नही दिया गया। गोराना ने चेतावनी दी कि शीघ्र ही मृत्युभोज का आयोजन करनेवालों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई नहीं की गई तो आंदोलन किया जाएगा। उन्होंने पुलिस को गुमराह करने पर सरपंच के खिलाफ भी कार्यवाही करने की मांग की है।

MP Police : रंग डालने के विवाद में युवती को आग लगाई

छिंदवाड़ा।। मध्य प्रदेश के छिंदवाड़ा जिले में रंग डालने को लेकर हुए विवाद में एक किशोरी पर केरोसिन डालकर जिंदा जलाने की कोशिश की गई। उसे गंभीर हालत में अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।

पुलिस के अनुसार रविवार को होली के दौरान कुड़ीपुरा थाने की बसंत कालोनी में सुनील ने पड़ोस में रहने वाले रवि प्रधान की बहन पर रंग डाल दिया। रंग गर्म पानी में मिला था। इस बात को लेकर दोनों पक्षों में विवाद बढ़ गया।

कुछ लोगों की मध्यस्थता से विवाद हालांकि समाप्त हो गया, लेकिन सुनील के परिवार का आरोप है कि रवि प्रधान शाम को उनके घर आया और ललिता (15 वर्ष) पर केरोसिन डालकर आग लगा दी। ललिता की हालत गंभीर है। जिला अस्पताल में उसका इलाज चल रहा है।

पुलिस ने रवि के खिलाफ हत्या के प्रयास का मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। कुड़ीपुरा के थाना प्रभारी जे. एस. राजपूत ने बताया कि आरोपी को पुलिस ने हिरासत में ले लिया है।

Mumbai Police- suitcase murder: Victim's husband arrested

Mumbai:  Railway  police on Saturday claimed to have cracked the murder case of a young pregnant woman, whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase at a railway station with the arrest of her doctor husband from Madhya Pradesh and two brothers-in-law from the city.

The two brothers-in-law of the victim were arrested on Friday night, while the husband, who is interning at a civic-run hospital, was apprehended on Saturday.

The body of a 24-year-old pregnant woman, with semen stains on her private parts, was recovered from a suitcase abandoned at Sandhurst Road railway station of Central Railway on Tuesday.

"The deceased was identified as Rehmat who hailed from Bihar and resided at Mumbra on the outskirts of Mumbai. An engineering student Tabrez Khan (21) and his cousin Abdul Hashib Khan (20) were arrested last night in connection with her murder. Both the accused are brothers-in-law of the deceased. The two were produced before a local court which remanded them in police custody till March 25," Government Railway Police (GRP) Commissioner Tukaram Chavan told PTI.

According to the police, Rehmat and Parvez Khan, who were neighbours from Bihar, had an affair before getting married in Delhi last year. After their marriage, the duo came to Mumbra where they were staying.

In the meantime, a surgeon from Madhya Pradesh offered Parvez a proposal to marry his daughter, to which the latter agreed. "The MP surgeon was not aware Parvez was already married," the police said. Parvez married the MP girl and started avoiding Rehmat, the police said.

"On learning about Pervez's marriage, Rehmat started arguing with him, after which he had left her. Hashib told Rehmat that Parvez was there in Delhi, following which the victim, along with Hashib, went to Delhi searching for her husband on February 6. Hashib, however, left Rehmat in the Capital. After a month, Rehmat returned to Mumbra in the first week of March," Chavan said.

Following her return, the trio planned her murder, the police said, adding that she was killed in an isolated location in Mumbra on Monday.

The accused then stuffed her body in a suitcase and abandoned it in a local train at Mumbra, after which "a passenger saw the abandoned bag in the train, slightly opened it after alighting the train at Sandhurst Road. When he discovered the body, he left the bag on the platform."

Dr Parvez Shaikh, 35, who was arrested by the CST railway police on Saturday from Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh, was brought to the city on Sunday.
He was produced before a local court and has been remanded in police custody till March 25. Parvez was held for allegedly murdering his wife Rehmat.
Parvez, his younger brother Tabrez Haq and cousin Abul Haseeb, both arrested on Friday night, were booked on charges of murder.
“During interrogation, it was revealed that Rehmat had objected to her husband’s second marriage with one Arsia Qureshi at Ratlam in December 2010. Since then, Rehmat and Parvez had been quarrelling. He then allegedly teamed up with Haq and Haseeb and hatched a plot to kill Parvez,” said railway police commissioner TA Chavan.
A neighbour of Rehmat’s identified her on seeing her picture in a newspaper. She told police that Parvez used to torture Rehmat physically and mentally. She also gave the cell numbers of Parvez and his two brothers to the police. The brothers were arrested in Mumbai, said senior inspector Ashok Kumar Jadhav of CST railway police station.
On March 14, around 5.30pm, Parvez, Haq and Haseeb allegedly strangled Rehmat and stuffed her body in a suitcase. Soon after the murder, Parvez left for Ratlam to meet Arsia, while the other two carried the suitcase to Mumbra station in the night. Haseeb boarded the luggage compartment of Ambernath-bound slow local with the suitcase, alighted at Kopar and joined Haq back at Mumbra.
The suitcase was found on Sandhurst Road station by an alert commuter who informed the police, added Jadhav.

Mumbai Police : Paedophilia convicts under police surveillance

The Colaba police moved an application in the sessions court on Saturday on the Supreme Court verdict upholding the conviction of two former British Navy officers -Duncan Grant (67) and Allan Waters (63)-for sexually abusing homeless minors. They are under  police surveillance and the cops will wait till Monday for them to appear before the court, otherwise a non-bailable warrant will be issued against them, said a police officer.

"The trial court will sign a non-bailable warrant against the convicts if they don't surrender by Monday," said assistant commissioner of police, Iqbal Shaikh.

"Grant and Waters are in Mumbai. They are under police surveillance. If they don't turn up, we will bring them before the court," said an officer. However, the officer refused to disclose two convicts' location. "We are just doing our duty," another officer said.

The Supreme Court on Friday upheld the sessions court's 2006 conviction of Grant and Waters, who were sentenced to six years in jail. A manager at the shelter, William D'Souza (49), an Indian, had also been sentenced to three years for abetment. Grant and Waters, who were freed by the Bombay high court in July 2008 after serving jail time, will have to be re-arrested. Waters has about a year left to spend behind bars and Grant about two years and 10 months. D'Souza has already served his sentence.
