GUWAHATI, Jan 25 – Seven police personnel of Assam have been selected for President’s police medals. The names of the police personnel for the President’s medals have been declared on the occasion of the Republic Day.
Police sources said here that RK Chandranathan, ADGP, Administration and AK Jha, ADGP, Modernisation have been selected for President’s medals for distinguished service.
Two policemen have been selected for President’s police medal for gallantry. They are Additional SP Satyajit Nath and constable Gokul Chetri. The police personnel selected for President’s police medal for meritorious service are Inspector Abu Sadique Md Taher, Havildar Kailash Nath and Constable BK Singh.
