BHOPAL: In a bid to address the grievances of policemen, the Bhopal range IG, Vijay Yadav visited the Nehru Nagar police lines on Tuesday. Besides, the lack of basic facilities in the police lines, the policemen also apprised IG of the problems faced in discharging their duties.

The policemen threw light on the problems faced by them in taking accused to other cities for court hearing and demanded arrangements for separate vehicles. They also highlighted the lack of basic facilities, including water, electricity and sewage network for the disposal of domestic waste at the police lines. IG assured the residents of doing the needful. Earlier, a mock drill was conducted by the police during the IG's maiden visit to the Nehru Nagar police lines. IG also inaugurated an entertainment centre with facilities like TV and books at the police lines.
