AP Police: Hyderabad: CID DSP D Nalini submitted her resignation in support of separate Telangana..

HYDERABAD: Crime Investigation Department (CID) deputy superintendent of police (DSP) D Nalini, who had submitted her resignation a few days ago, on Thursday alleged that she was being harassed by her higher-ups since she is a staunch supporter of the separate Telangana cause.
Addressing a press conference, Nalini said on November 1, the AP Formation Day, she had submitted her resignation from the post of DSP to the office of DGP in support of separate Telangana. When questioned to name the officials who harassed her, she refused to disclose and said that she was ill-treated by not providing a vehicle, a typist and support staff and made her work at odd hours. "I decided to quit my job in support of Telangana unable to resist the harassment of Seemandhra officers", Nalini said. She announced that henceforth she would participate directly in the Telangana agitation by working with various Telangana organisations. She threatened to go on an indefinite hunger strike in support of Telangana from December 9 in case the Union government fails to take a decision on the issue by then. It is the second time Nalini quit her job in support of Telangana.
